Aftercare for your
new tattoo
Remove bandage in 2-4 hours. (You will not need to
re-bandage your tattoo) Wash your tattoo with ice cold
water and antibacterial soap such as dial in a pump.
Gently remove any blood and plasma with clean hands
and a paper towel don't use a wash cloth (as they
harbor bacteria).
2-3 times a day for 3-5 days apply a thin layer of
tattoo goo or A&D ointment. Alot is not necessary and
will cause the tattoo not to heal proper.
Any discharge after you apply the ointment wash your
tattoo and let it air dry for about 15 minutes then
re-apply very little ointment. This will prevent scabbing.
After about 5 days you can start using a non-fragrance
hand lotion such as Vaseline intensive care it will help
with the dry skin you get when healing your tattoo.
When healing your tattoo use common sense. If it is on
your neck limit your movement. On your hand no dishes.
On your foot no shoes. The more you baby your tattoo
the better it will heal. When Your tattoo starts to itch
you can relieve this by lightly slapping your tattoo.
In about 2 weeks your tattoo will be healed if u need
any touch ups come back in within 60 days and I will
touch up your tattoo for free. (one time only)
If the touch up is a lack of proper aftercare then there
will be a charge and yes I can tell if you don't take care
of your tattoo properly.
Some Dont's !!
